Vendor rules and Guidelines
Regarding Vendor Space and display area- Your Basic Vendor package includes ONE 8ft long table to be used INSIDE the Basic Vendor Package space. Vendors may not bring in outside tables however extra tables are available for purchase (Please see the Vendor's Application for the fee schedule). Display racks and shelving are permitted and must be used INSIDE your paid space. All displays must remain clear of walkways during Vendor's Floor business hours.
Regarding Set-up and Breakdown
We ask that Vendors refrain from using the back door/loading door during Vendor’s Floor business hours. Please use the following set-up and breakdown hours provided to bring in/remove your merchandise:
· Day Zero (Friday, 08-17-12) Set-up access starts at 1pm. After Vendor’s Floor business hours have concluded Vendors may have access to the Floor until 8pm
· Day 1 (Saturday, 08-18-12) Set-up access starts at 8:30am. After Vendor’s Floor business hours have concluded Vendors may have access to the Floor until 8pm
· Day 2 (Sunday, 08-19-12) Vendors may have access to the floor starting at 8:30am. Vendors may begin soft break down (putting items away) as they see fit. Please do not have boxes or carts outside of the 10x10 space until Vendor's Floor business hours have concluded. Once the business hours have ended you may begin tearing down shelving/display racks etc. and taking items out of the venue.
Regarding Vendor’s Floor business hours -
Vendor’s Floor will be open for business to attendees according to the following schedule. (Please be prepared when attendees arrive):
· Day Zer0 (Friday, 08-17-12 ) 5pm to 7pm
· Day 1 (Saturday, 08-18-12) 10am to 5pm
· Day 2 (Sunday, 08-19-12) 10am to 4pm
Sale of weapons- All weapon sales must be in line with current Federal, State and Local laws regarding such items (for current CA laws visit http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/dwcl/index.php) Vendor must ask for ID to make sure buyer is 18years of age or older. Item must be given to buyer in box or suitably packaged or wrapped. Ani-Jam, LLC will not be responsible for any legal actions resulting from the sale of weapons to minors. Willful neglect of these guidelines may result in the vendor being asked to leave without refund or compensation.
Sale of Adult materials- All adult items should be clearly marked and properly covered from the public view. Vendor must ask for ID to make sure buyer is 18years of age or older. You may post a sign saying you have adult goods for sale. We ask vendors attempt to keep such adult items well separated from any non-adult merchandise they also may be selling. Ani-Jam, LLC will not be responsible for any legal actions resulting from the sale of adult materials to minors. Willful neglect of these guidelines may result in the vendor being asked to leave without refund or compensation.
Regarding copyrights and “unlicensed” goods- You may sell 3rd party items meant for sale in other countries, as long as you do not promote them as original items from Japan. Company representatives of respective copyright holders in the U.S. or abroad, in attendance at Ani-Jam, may reserve the right to request such merchandise, even if manufactured, purchased or licensed in Japan, be removed from your space. They will legally enforce their copyright. Ani-Jam Staff reserves the right to request that the above-mentioned items be removed from your booth if it is found that you are defrauding customers. Bootleg items and suspected bootleg items may be asked to be put away by Ani-Jam staff if proper licensing information cannot be presented when asked for. Willful neglect of these guidelines may result in the vendor being asked to leave without refund or compensation.
Cancellation refunds- Cancellations may be made in writing, by e-mail or phone. Cancellations before May 1st, 2012 are entitled to a 75% refund of total fees paid. Cancellations between May 1st, 2012 and July 15th, 2012 are entitled to a 50% refund of total fees paid. No refunds will be given for cancellations after July 15th, 2012
